Color me color blind?

Do you wear a specific color all of the time? Have you always been attracted to a particular color? I realized, as I cleaned out my closet yesterday, that I tend to wear mainly dark colors. I have more blacks, grays, browns, and dark blues than anything else. Upon this realization, I began to wonder if perhaps this said anything about my personality. With color selection, seasons do come in to play, as do styles and silhouettes. Designers generally gravitate towards bright colors in the spring, and darker colors in the fall. It seems though, no matter what the season is, I wear dark colors.

Color selection has a very broad spectrum (no pun intended), occasionally having to do with with body image. On the other end of it, some of us choose colors in order to stay stylistically timeless. In this day and age, I sure hope women don’t dress with the notion of appearing submissive to men. 

Another website, 2 Know Myself, states that wearing red makes one powerful and strong. They also say that wearing red draws attention. I have heard something about men wearing red ties, and being strong minded. 

What color are you wearing today?
I have a friend from high school who always wears black. Her entire life is pretty colorless, in the fashion sense. She always looks good, but I bet her closet must be very somber…in a good, fashionable way of course.
Maybe it is time for me to color up my wardrobe a little.
